How much time should we plan for?
As long as you like! There are 2 to 6 hours of activities.
Who’s it for?
3rd-cycle elementary and 1st-cycle secondary classes, but there is something for every level!
How much does it cost?
All activities are FREE!
Where is it?
In front of the Science Center, in the Old Port of Montréal
How do we get there?
By metro : orange line : Place d’Armes station (+10 min. walk).
By school bus.
What about lunch?
Feel free to picnic on the site (there will be a sheltered area in case of rain).
How many supervisors will we need?
We recommend one accompanying adult for every 10 students.
What will happen when we arrive at the festival?
Each group will be greeted upon arrival by a festival agent.
Any other important information I should be aware of?
We will send you an information kit a few weeks before the festival.
SCIENCE GOES TO SCHOOL RALLY
In preparation for your visit to the Eureka! Festival, participate with your students in the SCIENCE GOES TO SCHOOL! Internet Rally and have a chance to win a $1000 grant offered by the Fonds de recherche du Québec to carry out scientific activities in your school.
The activity will be available in mid-April and sent to all classes who have registered by completing the REGISTRATION FORM (French only).
The winners will be announced on June 8, at noon, at the Main Stage of the Eureka Festival!
Here are the three 2017 winners of the $1000 bursaries to use for science projets in their school.
