WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL LOCATED?

The Festival is now located at Parc Jean-Drapeau and at the Biosphère. Exit the Jean-Drapeau metro station (yellow line) and you’ll find yourself in the heart of the activities.

WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL’S OPENING HOURS?

Friday, June 5th : 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 6th : 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ; Evening program from 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, June 7th : 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHAT DO THE ACTIVITIES COST?

All Festival activities and all exhibition halls in the Biosphère are free for the weekend.

WHO ARE THE FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES FOR?

The Festival activities have been designed to appeal to a wide audience.

The majority of shows, presentations and workshops will be of interest to children as young as 6 or 7. Kids from 8 to 14 will have lots of choices, as the programming was developed with them and their parents in mind.

But Eurêka! has something for everyone, not just families. The program includes a number of interactive presentations by researchers and personalities from various fields, sure to fascinate visitors of all ages.

WILL ACTIVITIES BE CANCELLED IF IT RAINS?

Festival activities and shows are not cancelled if it rains, except in case of force majeure. However, some activities may be closed temporarily if necessary.

IS THERE PARKING NEAR THE SITE?

There are a number of paid parking lots on Île Sainte-Hélène and Île Notre-Dame. However, some lots may fill up at certain times of the day. If so, you might have to walk a good fifteen minutes to reach the Festival site. Allow time to find alternative parking if you want to drive to the Festival.

We STRONGLY recommend that you come to the Park by metro, bicycle or river shuttle!

ARE THERE BIKE RACKS ON THE SITE?

Parc Jean-Drapeau is a vast urban park covering more than 260 hectares on Île Sainte-Hélène and Île Notre-Dame. With more than 25 km of roads, trails and cycling paths, the best way to explore and get around the park is definitely by bike.

The Park provides numerous bike racks, and several BIXI stations are also installed during the summer season, making it easy for visitors to leave their bikes once they arrive at the Park or set off on an adventure after travelling by tube.

IS THERE SPECIAL ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

All presentation areas and stages are accessible to people with reduced mobility. A team of dedicated volunteers circulating throughout the site will be available to assist you if needed.

Wheelchairs are available at the Athletes’ Quarters, the Beach, and the Aquatic Complex. These wheelchairs are reserved for emergency situations and can only be loaned under such circumstances. They are fully functional and adapted to meet the requirements of the site.

ARE YOU ALLOWED TO BRING YOUR LUNCH ONTO THE SITE?

Absolutely! Parc Jean-Drapeau offers picnic tables and charming spots perfect for a meal, all with stunning, unobstructed views of the river. Take full advantage and enjoy your visit!

ARE THERE PLACES TO EAT NEAR THE SITE?

Several foodtrucks offering local cuisine, reflecting the Festival’s ecologically responsible values, will be on site during the Festival.

You can also eat at the Parc’s restaurant, Bistro-Terrace Ste-Hélène. Located in the heart of Espace 67, the restaurant offers a varied menu.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

Dogs are permitted in Jean-Drapeau, but must be kept on a leash at all times. However, they are not permitted under the kiosks.

HOW TO RECOVER A LOST ITEM?

We bring all the found items to the Biosphere security office, which keeps them for several weeks. Feel free to call or visit!
